Since I have a retail job now, there is no hope for me to come home for the holidays since this is the prime shopping season (well, that is assuming that anyone has money by that time). That was made clear during my interview. So hopefully I will be able to come home sometime after the new year.
I got a job over the weekend and I worked my first day today. I was trying to make it at least a year with no ‘official’ job, but I guess you can’t meet all of you dreams.

While my mom was here, Linda took us to a state park called Lost Maples. As you might have guessed, there are a lot of maple trees. Linda said that she tried to go there once in the Fall when the leaves were changing colors but the park was closed because there were so many people in it.

While my mom was here, Linda took us to a state park called Enchanted Rock for a hike, which was about an hours drive away. There are several trails and we decided to take the summit trail directly to the top. Once you got on the ‘rock’, there was no trail. It was just a bare rock face that you had to walk up to get to the top. This part was fairly steep and we saw a few ladies trying to manage the hike in flip flops or platform sandals.

First off, you have to learn to say it the way that I say it. There is a ventriloquist that has been around for a long time named Jeff Dunham that has a puppet called ‘Jose Jalapeno’. If you watch this video you will here him say ‘jalapeno on a stick’ – this is how I pronounce chainsaw on a stick.
