Last night the trap next to the cat food caught a possum. Yes, it did play dead when I went to look at it. But once I picked up the cage to put it into the truck, it moved like there was no tomorrow. Which, actually, it might have been afraid was true. But alas, [...] If you are going to wash your clothes and then line dry them, make sure you do not do the following. Put clothes in washer, eat lunch, read your book, surf the internet, do some work, talk on the phone, get the washing and hang it up. Why is this the wrong thing to do? I put an ad in the paper that ran in late September offering to teach private computer lessons. The ad ran for three weeks and I got two calls. The first one wanted to know if I could teach Quickbooks and I had to turn her down for I am just now trying to figure [...] Linda noticed recently that the cat food bowls were wiped clean every morning which is usually a sign that raccoons are eating the food overnight. She set a trap and a couple days later caught the culprit. Although, it wasn’t a ‘coon, it was a wild cat. The other cats were making noise because they [...] The past couple days I have been on holiday decoration duty. I never knew how much fluffing fake trees and garlands require. And yes, it is trees, as in about 8. Luckily I have just been putting them together, fluffing and putting lights on if necessary. I do not think I am going to get [...] Not sure why it took me so long to figure it out, but I finally realized that there is a perfect language for me to use. Considering how bad I am at speaking loudly and in a frequency that people can hear, this one is perfect! Figured it out yet? It is better, but still not back to where it was. I can get around fine and have full range of motion, but I stay away from heavy loads and stress. I have started doing some exercises at home to try to strengthen my lower back. Living with a massage therapist is also a plus. I went to a back specialist in San Antonio yesterday to see if there is anything major wrong. There is a town just outside of San Antonio that is spelled Boerne. Now how do you think that is pronounced? My guess would have been something like ‘bourne’ or ‘börn’. What do you think? Want to know what the answer is? Alright, I have not written in a while so it is time to do a summary post to let you know what I have been up to. |
