Welcome

Welcome to my wu-chi. What is wu-chi? One site that I feel describes this well is at the naturalHealthWeb.com. Some exerpts:

which can be translated as “no extremes”…

Instead of connivance and manipulation, it is better to see and accept things as they are. It often makes more sense to change your thinking and actions to match the situation rather than trying to force the situation to match your idea of the way things should be. That is where the exercise of Wu Chi can help….

When you practice Wu Chi you enter a state where the things of the material world lose their power to sap your energy. You go back to a more primal state where desire and craving lose all meaning. You transcend yin and yang and therefore rise above likes and dislikes, preferences and aversions, wants and don’t wants. In Wu Chi you are complete, without lack….

You will become less demanding on yourself and others as you learn to accept things as they are and “go with the flow.” Calmness and tranquility replace tension and anxiety…

so welcome to my calmness and tranquility and enjoy…

ps – note all of my posts are going to provide deep thoughts like this one – just wanted to explain what wu-chi means.

With that many pictures to view, we’ll be busy until you return, at least. I’m glad you’re having a good time. This a great experience, and I’m glad you have taken the time to share it with us. It doesn’t seem like you’re so far away that way. We shouldn’t miss you, because we seldom see you when you’re here, but we do. You are much in our thoughts. I haven’t yet got the hang of seeing all your pictures. Have read most of what you have written, I think. And we’re looking forward to learning all about your view of China. Love, Grandma
